• Portrait to the waist
• Consider including an item or object, which you love
• Take picture outside in the shade
• Do not use flash
• Preferably a large digital size e.g. 1600 x 2000 pixels

• Don't ask Engelberta any questions
• Only talk about yourself
• Don't explain in detail who you are. You can be identified in the Family Tree
• Don'y make it too long. 3/4 page is enough. Make it special. Be sure that your letter content stands out over all the others
